PAWSITIVE PREVENTION PROJECT
This is a project focusing on some of the sources of the problems leading to overcrowded shelters, such as:
-
Microchipping to help get dogs back to their owners
-
Spay and Neuter to help with overpopulation
-
Education which is one of the keys to success
Once per year, we will be providing funds to non-profits that are proactively working on this goal.
As most of you are aware, animal shelters around the country are overcrowded, which leads to higher euthansia rates. The Metro Detroit area is no different. That is why it is so critical that this project succeeds. Animal welfare organizations are doing their best to help with this, but sometimes they need a little help and that's where we come in.
Below are just a few examples of where your donations to this program can go:
-
$5 - Heartworm tests
-
$10 - Microchips
-
$15 - Heartworm Preventative
-
$75 - Cat Spay and Neuter
-
$125 - Dog Spay and Neuter
